Product Care

  • Scuethyee collections are crafted by artisans from around the world and are expertly designed to withstand everyday use. However, as even the best-made furnishings and décor are not indestructible, normal wear and tear will reflect use and care.
  • Vacuum your upholstery occasionally, using upholstery and crevice attachments to clean up loose particles.
  • Before cleaning, pre-test upholstery cleaners for color loss and compatibility by applying a small amount to a hidden section of fabric.
  • Pieces upholstered in Nomad Snow and Vanni Taupe are spot-clean only using distilled water or water-based cleaning agents. Foam from a mild detergent or mild dry-cleaning solvents can also be used.
  • Spot-clean upholstery using a clean, absorbent, undyed cloth with a blotting motion. Blot from the outside towards the middle of the soiled area to prevent rings. Never scrub.
  • Occasionally dust lacquered wood surfaces with a soft, dry cloth and non-wax furniture polish to keep finishes looking their best. 
  • Do not clean using abrasives, harsh, corrosive chemicals, or care products containing ammonia or silicone, as these could damage finishes and surfaces.
  • Avoid over-rubbing and never clean fabrics with a hard-bristle brush as this could damage fibers.
  • For best results, follow use instructions for all cleaning products carefully. Do not over apply.
  • For overall cleaning or to clean any overly soiled upholstery, we recommend contacting a professional cleaning service.
  • All fabrics may pill from friction and normal wear, as everyday use loosens fibers. Occasionally use a fabric (or “sweater”) shaver to gently remove pills. Pilling should decrease once loose fibers are removed.
  • Scuethyee finishes may change over time, and natural wood may display small splits, knots, joint lines, or other features that will add character to your piece without affecting its quality or performance.
  • Furniture made from natural wood may move slightly as temperature and humidity cause the wood to expand and contract. This is normal and should be expected from season to season.
  • To help prevent fabrics and finishes from fading over time, avoid placing indoor upholstery in direct sunlight or near sources of heat or moisture.
  • Ensure your furniture sits in a level position to ensure the longevity of your piece, as frames tend to warp if standing on an uneven surface.
  • Lift wood furniture when moving. Do not drag, as this could loosen joinery and damage your piece.
  • Do not lean back in chairs and avoid using chair stretchers as footrests.

After receiving the goods, if there is any problem with the quality, we provide free return and exchange service for 30 natural days.

You need to take photos or videos as evidence and contact customer service for processing.

1. CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS
Sales will communicate with you the details of the products, whether it is style or size, we will do our best to meet your requirements. And we have a wealth of wood color cards and fabric color cards for you to choose; in addition, it is your responsibility to ensure that all furniture items can reach the required location through any entry points (such as doorways, stairs, corridors, elevators, and corners). Please refer to our furniture measurement guide for instructions on measuring the space of your house to ensure that the items will fit when delivered.


3. PRODUCT PRODUCTION
When the product customization is confirmed, we start producing furniture. Many Scuethyee products are handmade. Given their handmade and hand-finished nature, their changes are worth looking forward to and celebrating. Each item is unique and no two are exactly the same. The items shown in the pictures and galleries on our website may differ from your actual work.

Special orders begin production immediately after the order is placed and are produced according to your specifications. Therefore, the order cannot be canceled or changed. Generally speaking, the production cycle of the product is 30-40 days. If the production cycle of the product changes, we will notify you by email.

4. CONFIRM THE FINISHED PRODUCT
After the finished product is produced, we will send you photos and videos of the product for confirmation. You can ask to see various details for final confirmation. If everything is OK, we will pack and prepare to send.

5. TRANSPORTATION
You are responsible for ensuring that all delivery address information and contact numbers are correct. This is especially important. United States: For door-to-door orders, we will transport the furniture to the port closest to you depending on your state. The shipping time varies from 25 to 45 days. After arriving at the port, we will arrange customs clearance and delivery, which takes 10 to 15 days.

6. Delivery
After customs clearance, the truck driver will deliver the product to your standard address. Please pay attention to the driver's call and be ready to receive the item.

What payment methods can I use?

Can I purchase items with another currency?

Yes, you may select a currency based on your personal preference. When you select your country in the country selector on the upper right of the website or are taken directly to your country’s version of the website, you will see prices listed in the regional currency.

Can I make changes to my order after it’s been placed?

We do everything we can to fulfill orders quickly and unfortunately cannot make updates after an order has been placed. These changes include removing or adding products and/or changing the delivery address. If a mistake has been made with your order information, it’s quickest to create a new order with the correct information and then let our Customer Service.

Do you offer e-gift cards for international customers?

E-gift cards are only available to customers shipping within the U.S.

How Do I Set Up A Subscription Order?

We will deliver products to you as soon as reasonably possible. Orders are usually dispatched between 1-3 days from the date of the order being placed. Please contact us our customer service team if your delivery has not been received within the dates described.

How To Return My Items?

We do not currently offer free returns to overseas customers. You will therefore need to cover all costs of returning any items to us yourself. We advise that you mark your package ‘returned goods’ to avoid further duties. Remember: We strongly recommend that you return any items via a registered trackable service and obtain and retain proof of posting as we do not accept responsibility for items that fail to arrive with us.
