Specification
  • Each Reade table is hand-finished by master artisans through a detailed multi-layer process that includes sanding, staining, and sealing. This careful attention to detail ensures a smooth, durable finish that accentuates the natural beauty of the ash wood.
  • The table is constructed from kiln-dried ash for both the tabletop and the legs, providing exceptional stability and resistance to warping. The uniform grain of the ash makes it ideal for both staining and showcasing the wood's natural patterns.

CARE
  • Each piece of our artisan-crafted furniture is made from natural wood with hand-applied finishes, resulting in unique variations in color, pattern, shape, and texture.
  • Our wood furnishings are protected with a lacquer seal, providing a durable yet not indestructible barrier, and can be easily spot-cleaned with mild soap, water, and a soft, undyed cloth.
  • To avoid marks, always dry the surface immediately after cleaning. Occasionally dust lacquered wood with a soft, dry cloth and use non-wax furniture polish to maintain its finish.
  • Prevent moisture damage, such as water rings, by wiping up spills promptly with a soft, dry, undyed cloth.
  • Avoid cleaning with abrasives, harsh chemicals, or products containing ammonia or silicone, as they can harm the finish and surface.
  • Always lift furniture when moving it—never drag—to protect the joinery and maintain the piece’s integrity.
